Product Description

IEC-standard PMSM motors are permanent magnet motors, known for their higher efficiency. They are designed to replace some traditional AC induction motors. With the same overall dimensions and mounting dimensions as AC motors, you can easily use our IEC-standard PMSM motors in a variety of applications.

What applications require a permanent magnet brushless DC motor to replace a traditional AC induction motor?

Any of the following requirements:

1. Variable speed applications

2. High starting torque requirements

3. Low/high speed applications

4. Minimized motor size requirements

5. Custom speeds, allowing operation at any defined speed (AC motors have limited rated speeds: 2-pole – 3000 rpm, 4-pole – 1500 rpm @ 50 Hz, 2-pole – 3600 rpm, 4-pole – 1800 rpm @ 60 Hz).

IEC-standard PMSM motors are available in a variety of frame sizes. These include frame 63, frame 71, frame 80, frame 90, and frame 112. More motor frames will be designed soon.

• Output power (W): Horsepower/watts/torque rated at full load speed
• Voltage (V): i.e 12V DC …….. 450V AC
• Motor speed (RPM): Revolutions per minute of the shaft at full load Voltage
