Product Description
Compared to traditional inner rotor EC fans and AC fans, EC outer rotor motor’s advantages focus on four core needs: space adaptability, efficiency, noise reduction, and maintenance:
High Space Utilization：Compact and lightweight (20%-30% lighter than internal rotor fans of the same power), suitable for embedded installation (e.g., equipment cabinets, ceiling voids). Perfect for scenarios with limited space but high air volume requirements.
Lower Operating Noise：No friction noise from transmission components, and the coaxial rotation of the impeller and rotor ensures high dynamic balance precision (usually ≤0.5g). Operating noise is 3-8dB lower than that of internal rotor fans (e.g., 55dB for 1.1kW models vs. 62dB for internal rotor equivalents).
Superior Startup Performance：The external rotor motor has low rotor inertia, with a startup current only 1.5-2 times the rated current (compared to 5-7 times for internal rotor motors). It has minimal impact on the power grid, making it suitable for unstable power supply scenarios such as small generators or storage batteries.
Lower Maintenance Costs ：The integrated structure reduces failure points (no transmission component wear or loosening). Most models use maintenance-free sealed bearings (e.g., SKF 6204-2RS) with a service life of over 50,000 hours, resulting in annual maintenance costs of only 50-100 RMB.
Wider Speed Regulation Range：Supports 0-100% stepless speed regulation and remains stable at low speeds (no “surge” at 10% rated speed). Ideal for scenarios requiring precise air control (e.g., laboratory fume hoods, precision equipment cooling).
Compared to typical EC outer rotor fans on the market, our EC motors can be powered by photovoltaic energy, further saving on electricity costs.
